Maëlle Barbotin

Craft and manual work are at the core of my approach, as they allow me to be in direct contact with the material. These hands-on experiences have nourished my desire to work in the print industry, with a particular interest in screen printing, risography and bookbinding - methods that maintain a constant link between artist and craft.

I am a junior graphic designer with a master's degree in communication design and creative strategies. With a strong interest in print and craft, I explore these areas through projects, often tackling societal issues and examining the impact that design can have on people's thoughts and lives. I believe that is my strength. For example, I was able to set myself apart by offering a project combining multi-sensory design and a feminist approach for my thesis.
